Maria Newcomb

2012 Women in Triticum Early Career Award

Maria Newcomb, from the U.S., worked as a post-doctoral plant pathologist in Yue Jin’s research program at the USDA-ARS Cereal Disease Laboratory in Minnesota. Currently she is an assistant research scientist in Plant Sciences at the University of Arizona. She focuses on plant phenomics and field phenotyping. Previous experience is in plant disease epidemiology and the ecology of plant-microbe interactions.
