Arti Singh, from India, was a post-doctoral fellow at the Semiarid Prairie Agricultural Research Centre, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada at the time of her award. Today, she is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Agronomy at Iowa State University where her research focuses on legume breeding, utilization of advanced data analytics, particularly machine and deep learning for plant stress phenotyping, and genetic/genomic studies on abiotic and biotic stress resistance on soybean and mung bean.
